When the local hospital closed the psychiatric ward my regular psychiatrist left and the nearest one is now York. I was in there for 3 weeks earlier this year. There are only 18 adult female beds but in reality, at the time there was only 14. WebThe psychology team works across our 3 service settings, which includes a 15-bed regional inpatient unit at Birch Ward, Darlington, and a day service and community team which are based at Imperial Avenue, Norton, Stockton on Tees.
