A helicoil for the tensioner bolt won't be an issue at all since that's not a high-stress bolt (e.g. unlike a head bolt/stud that is under a lot more stress). Install the helicoil per the directions, and enjoy. As far as using a helicoil for a head stud/bolt, that I would be a little iffy on.
