WebFeb 13, 2010 · Another option- Yamaha sells a GYTR heavier flywheel. The inertia comparasions are different, but my seat of the pants inertia comparsion is that the GYTR flywheel is about the same as a 7oz Steahly weight. The FWW is faster to swap out, but it will require the use of a LH engine cover spacer (included in the Steahly FWW kit).

This had a smooth pull from the bottom through the mid and revved forever on top. Steahly 13 oz flywheel weight: FMF Gnarly pipe. I needed a pipe anyway, so it was worth a shot. It did smooth out the powerband a little bit, but the stock pipe was very good on this bike.
