WebNov 14, 2015 · I managed to temporarily fix the problem by deleting the saves folder in. Documents->My Games->Fallout 4, but when I quit the problem came back as usual. I tried deleting the saves folder again, but it didn't work. I fixed the problem again by deleting the entire Fallout 4 folder where the saves are kept. But again, now it just crashes on startup. WebRemoved all mods from Vortex and moved to MO2, re-installed all mods/cleaned/load order organised still crashing. deleted all ini files, validated file integrety through steam: still crashing. Removed all mods from MO2, uninstalled FO4, deleted all ini files. Reinstalled and it crashed vanilla at the same spot (crying emoji!)
